Alaina is a student at East Tennessee State University, studying Geosciences and Music. She is a yoga instructor and enjoys living connected to nature and the outdoors. She has spent summers working at Farm Camps where she led various activities with campers of all ages. Her hobbies include: playing guitar, journaling, gymnastics and gardening, among other things. Her favorite childhood memory is when she met her best friend at recess who taught her how to do a back handspring.

She is excited to help connect children with the natural world by gaining a deeper understanding of it. It is important that we find time to take a close look at the world around us and consider how each small part plays a role in the ecosystem. She is very excited to be back on the farm and reconnect with all of the Earth School families and can’t wait for the program to start!!
