Who are mentoring sessions intended for?

Children: Mentoring sessions are for children who thrive learning through 1:1 mentoring and love working with their hands in a nature-based context. Because working with the hands is supportive to emotional regulation, self-discovery, and growing confidence/ sense of efficacy, these sessions are intended to be therapeutic in nature. Though these sessions are open to any children, not only Earth School students, these sessions may also be beneficial for Earth School students who have a readiness and excitement to hone their abilities and dive deeper on a certain skill building area or topic covered at Earth School.

Adults: Mentoring sessions with Taylor are intended for adults who are looking for 1:1 mentoring to develop homesteading/construction/earth skills (see below for a list of possible focus areas) and who thrive learning outdoors. These sessions are self-directed by the person receiving mentoring, based on the areas of interest Taylor and the individual identify.
