Locally Raised
Our birds are raised at Fauna Forest Farm, a 33 acre organic farm in Jonesborough.
Fauna Forest Farm is also home to the Earth School, a farm-based educational program for children. In addition to providing local food, the hens also serve as a beloved part of the children’s farm school experience.

Pasture-Raised & Rotationally Grazed
In alignment with regenerative agricultural practice, the hens are rotationally grazed, meaning that they are rhythmically moved to new paddocks, providing access to fresh plant and bug life and supporting overall health.

Quality Diet
In addition to the nutrients the hens access through a rotationally grazed system, they are fed an organic (and non-GMO) corn-free and soy-free diet.
We are a small-scale operation dedicated to implementing regenerative practices. Our birds are raised on pasture, are free to roam, and are fed an organic corn-free and soy-free diet. They are rotationally grazed, ensuring they receive the most nutrient-dense food while living in harmony with nature’s rhythm. Because we value accessibility to local food, we are incorporating a sliding scale for payment, allowing us to offer our eggs at a discount to some families. Eggs pricing will range from $8 to $12. By adopting this model, we hope to decrease financial barriers to accessing fresh, ethically-raised eggs and to contribute to local food security. Our commitment extends beyond just providing nutrient dense food; it encompasses nurturing a deep connection to the land and promoting sustainability within our community.
